About Emily-Rose M. Virden, CNP, PMHNP-BC

Emily-Rose M. Virden is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is a graduate of the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in Boston, Massachusetts. Her psychiatric internships were completed at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Brockton, Norfolk County Sheriff’s Department in Dedham, and McLean Hospital in Middleboro. Her background includes licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician, undergraduate work in human services from Lasell College specializing in youth and crime as well as completed graduate work from Capella University in public safety and emergency management. She has worked as both a psychiatric Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner for McLean Hospital in Belmont and Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis in multiple settings including residential, inpatient, partial hospitalization, and the Emergency Department. Emily-Rose holds induction with Sigma theta tau. Emily-Rose believes in a holistic approach to patient care as striving to provide happiness and balance are vital to a person’s quality of life.
